Flamands Blue Villa on St. Barts

What made our St. Barts 10 day vacation paradise? Hard to select one, but beaches, dining, snorkeling, and the Jacuzzi any time of day or evening were at the top. Jeff and his manager keep this villa in impecable condition. We highly reccomend this place for the views, location and professionalism of the staff. This photo is of the us on the beach we enjoyed most, Flamands, just down the hillside from Flamands Blue.

	My new husband is a busy attorney back at home but here he's RELAXED wearing this new shirt I picked out for him. This was our 2nd time to the villa, and it was even better! I took this photo midway throught our vacation at Flamands Blue. We did all the beaches, snorkeled, dined and shopped. This is a beautiful, serene place that's in our hearts 'till next time. 	"Flamands Blue was exactly right for our honeymoon. We considered Europe, but on St. Barts we had the beautiful beaches along with the flavor of France and Sweden. After talking with a prior Guest who told us what a great time they had we booked right away. There is not a single thing we would change. We wanted total privacy at a reasonable price - and that's exactly what we got! Jeff's directions helped guide us and we fell in love with this Island. "We visited St. Barts by sailboat and liked it so much we wanted to return and stay in a beautiful villa. In my wife's words, Flamands Blue is simply fabulous!. The views are dramatic and the location is convenient yet private. We visited all the beaches but most enjoyed just walking to Flamands for the day, and returning when we grew 'tired' of looking out on the turquoise ocean. After dinner we'd soak in the Jacuzzi under the stars- and plan our next day. It was the first time in our many trips to the Caribbean that we were actually HOMESICK to leave. 	We had a teriffic time on our 11 year anniversary at Flamands Blue. The views are beautiful, the villa is private, and we took advantage of the pristine beach by walking down for a daily swim. Gustavia and St. Jean were nearby for great shopping and we had excellent, romantic dining in the evenings. The staff is absolutely first rate. Just what we needed! We hope to return soon. "The inspiration for our St Barts vacation came at a Jimmy Buffett concert where we heard him describe it's beauty, in his prelude to 'Cheeseburger in Paradise'. Fran contacted Jeff to plan our family vacation who was VERY knowledgable and enthusiastic in planning our trip. With the great views from the two large terraces (you always want to be outside) we were together but never cramped--even with all of us in the Jacuzzi at night. 	"We're 2nd timers to Flamands Blue. We met Jeff on our first St. Barts trip on the return flight (we'd stayed in a hotel) and chose this Villa for our next one, a much better value - since it's an entire home for us at the single bedroom rate. Business warrants that we both travel extensively and we love the comfort and intimacy of this Villa. The Manager called to check in on us during the week and we replied that everything was perfect. It's impossible NOT to love this place. The staff and dining recomendations were perfect too. The days were spent on the beach of course and usually ended with drinks on the villa terrace savoring the views, or at the Hotel bar down below on the beach. "We'd been to the Island before, booked by an agent in a place that was more expensive, but not nearly as comfortable as Flamands Blue. The girls rode horses on a trail overlooking the bay and all we swam, snorkeled, dined and spent the days about equally between lounging at the beach & back the Villa. "This villa (an excellent value) is kept in sterling condition by the owner, and the Manager is a delight. Getting fresh baked goods for breakfast, spending the day on one of the Island's beautiful beaches, having lunch at a seaside restaurant and returning to the Villa for an afternoon nap is this city dweller's idea of heaven on earth. 	"Our St. Barts trip was to celebrate the completion of John's Ph.D. Both of us were able to relax and unwind. This one's my favorite - snapped early one morning on the terrace. It's great to see him engrossed in a NOVEL (instead of science) listening to the ocean over his morning coffee. "Beautiful place, with plenty of room for us. Toured the entire Island, and found Flamands to be the very prettiest location. We never tired of the beach or excellent dining. We've rented vacation homes many times before, some high end and you almost EXPECT something not to work -- not here. "We'd already picked St. Barts for our honeymoon and chose Flamands Blue mainly because the owner's enthusiasm was contagious! It could not have been better. The villa was immaculate and ALL the views (like the ocean from the Master Suite) were much prettier than the website photos, in the evening as well. We're glad we stayed here instead of a hotel (the cost is about the same) because of the privacy and wonderful ambiance--from stepping into the Jacuzzi out the shower door, to the scent of Jasmine in the gardens after a rain. 	"After viewing the website and talking with the Owner we agreed Flamands Blue was the ONLY place for our 30th - then scheduled around the open dates. We were not surprised that the Villa was beautiful and impeccably maintained, but a bonus was the attention of Jeff and his Manager to help us better enjoy our trip. Here we are after a wonderful day on a catamaran that was arranged for snorkeling, excellent food, and very nice people. We wreck dived a few days later.
